The Edge was set up for the young people on the council estate of Holmewood to stop them 'falling over the edge' into a life of crime, drugs and solvent abuse. Over the years this hasn't changed but developed into a centre that now caters for the most 'difficult' individuals in the area. Normally young people that other organisations won't work with. The Edge is there to help young people understand that they are valued members of the community and provide necessary support to help them find their place and purpose in the society.
