Step 2 work in both primary and secondary schools in the Holmewood and Bierley areas, running courses and support groups on friendship, bullying, protective behaviours and self esteem. We also currently offer a Counselling Service to young people in schools, at Step 2, and at other local premises.

Drop in and have a chat with a Youth Worker.
Condom distribution, pregnancy testing, Chlamydia screening. Advice on stopping smoking. Activities and games.

Wednesday 16:00-17:30 (13-19)

Run with girls around healthy lifestyles.

Teen Talk

Thursday 14:30 - 16:30

Step 2 offers support to the Teen Talk service at Bowling Hall Medical Centre. Here you can chat to a Step 2 worker or a nurse about any health concerns you have. A doctor is available if you needed. No appointment necessary.

Bumps Courses

3 times a year

Run with single-sex groups, this includes a 10 week course around sexual health, teenage pregnancy and baby care.
